Teressa LaGamba, Acting Associate
is a performance artist / singer/ writer who has worked in Chicago’s theatre, music, and comedy industries for over 15 years. Born in Pittsburgh, she came to Chicago in 2009 and graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Acting and a minor in American Sign Language. After fostering a sisterhood with Missy in multiple theatre contracts, Teressa has been a voice student with Sunburst since it’s birth! She couldn’t feel more passionately about what Missy has to offer our community as a somatic based teacher, an actor, a mom and a musician. Teressa is beyond thrilled to hop onto this team of driven women as an acting coach.
You may have seen Teressa on stage through Chicago in a range of mediums; in plays or musicals in both black box storefronts and 1800 person houses, in bookstores or living rooms reading her poetry, singing rock music in bars or basements, or hopping around in the Fly Honey Show.
She believes that every person has a unique and wildly interesting point of view and looks to honor that in every person she works with.
